This projector is named HD146X, originates from Optoma, and its data sheet shows 3600 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 25000:1 and a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 4000 hours – mathematically sufficient for 5.5 years based on two hours of use per day. Looking at practical performance, up to 610 cm can be illuminated with 3600 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 407 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P as well as 3D are supported.

I am extremely surprised by this projector! You can‘t get or expect more for little money. For around €400 you get a fantastic projector that is whisper-quiet in Eco mode and produces a brilliant, bright and clear picture. It can even do 3D and it does it well! You have to make a few compromises when it comes to the black level. I previously had a much more expensive projector from JVC and am all the more surprised that I am satisfied with this Optoma device.
