Categorized in the Standard-Portabel segment, the DS211 projector from Optoma projects with a SVGA 800 x 600 resolution, alongside 2500 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 3500:1. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 5000 hours. A daily usage of 2 hours makes an operational lifespan of 6.8 years possible. Looking at practical performance, up to 435 cm can be illuminated with 2500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 290 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. With a value of only 30 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background. This model dates back to 2011 and is no longer part of Optoma's current product range.
