According to Optoma, the UHD35x model provides 3600 ANSI lumens, a contrast ratio of 1000000:1 alongside a UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160 resolution. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 4000 hours – mathematically sufficient for 5.5 years based on two hours of use per day. Should a perpendicular setup to the screen not be possible, the integrated keystone correction (horizontal and vertical) helps to realign the image into a perfect rectangle. Looking at practical performance, up to 610 cm can be illuminated with 3600 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 407 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K as well as 3D, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. With a value of only 28 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background.
