The basic data of the Optoma X400+ includes 4000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768 as well as a contrast of 22000:1. According to Optoma, the included lamp lasts up to 5000 hours – mathematically sufficient for 6.8 years based on two hours of use per day. Looking at practical performance, up to 551 cm can be illuminated with 4000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 367 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P as well as 3D. Thanks to MHL support, screen content from mobile devices can be transmitted via cable, including charging power for the device. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. This model dates back to 2017 and is no longer part of Optoma's current product range.
