The Optoma S312 is a 3D-DLP projector that brings 3200 ANSI lumens, a SVGA 800 x 600 resolution alongside a contrast of 20000:1. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 5000 hours before a replacement is necessary. With two hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 6.8 years. A look at the light output reveals: The 3200 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 493 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 329 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. With a value of only 29 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background. Since entering the market in 2015, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
