Based on LCD technology, the Christie LX500 device delivers 5000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768 and a contrast of 1000:1 as a projector. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 2000 hours. For distortion-free image alignment, the projector offers both a lens shift function and keystone correction, granting significant leeway during mounting. Thanks to the interchangeable lens system, the device can be equipped with optional lenses to react flexibly to different room sizes. Exact values for specific rooms are provided by the Projector Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 5000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 616 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 411 cm. Since entering the market in 2008, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
