A projector from Christie is the LX66, whose LCD model delivers 6500 ANSI lumens, a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768 and a contrast of 1300:1. According to Christie, the included lamp lasts up to 1500 hours. Regarding setup flexibility, the model features an optical lens shift function alongside digital keystone correction, allowing for precise alignment without distortion. A major advantage for professional installations is the ability to use interchangeable lenses, allowing the projector to adapt to highly varied projection distances. Which optic is required for a specific case can easily be calculated via the Projector Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 702 cm can be illuminated with 6500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 468 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. This model dates back to 2004 and is no longer part of Christie's current product range. As an archive device, the projector remains highly relevant in our database.
