The LX380 model is a LCD projector from Christie, intended for Stationary applications, offering 3800 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1000:1 at XGA 1024 x 768. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 2000 hours. Both optical image shifting (lens shift) and digital keystone adjustment are included, enabling exact alignment on the screen. For maximum setup flexibility, the model supports optional interchangeable lenses, meaning the optics can be precisely matched to individual on-site requirements. Suitable distances can be determined using the Lens Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 3800 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 537 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 358 cm. The projector was released in 2006 and is officially no longer distributed by Christie.
