The Christie DW5K is a DLP projector that brings 5300 ANSI lumens, a HDTV 1280 x 720 resolution alongside a contrast of 2000:1. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 1500 hours before a replacement is necessary. The presence of a lens shift function enables flexible vertical or horizontal positioning of the projector without digital interference. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Distance Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 5300 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 740 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 493 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance.
