Based on DLP technology, the Christie Solaria One device delivers 8000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of HD2K 2048 x 1080 and a contrast of 1700:1 as a projector. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 1500 hours. A major advantage for professional installations is the ability to use interchangeable lenses, allowing the projector to adapt to highly varied projection distances. Which optic is required for a specific case can easily be calculated via the Projection Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 779 cm can be illuminated with 8000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 519 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. The projector was released in 2013 and is officially no longer distributed by Christie. In our projector directory, the device still generates high interest.
