The D12HD-HS model is a 3D-DLP projector from Christie, intended for Event applications, offering 10500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1200:1 at HDTV 1920 x 1080. With its built-in laser light source, the projector achieves a manufacturer-stated lifespan of 20000 hours – equivalent to a usable life of 13.7 years at 4 hours a day. An integrated lens shift provides significant leeway for placement. The lens can be adjusted to precisely align the image even with off-center installations. For maximum setup flexibility, the model supports optional interchangeable lenses, meaning the optics can be precisely matched to individual on-site requirements. Suitable distances can be determined using the Projection Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 10500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 1041 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 694 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. Furthermore, the model supports 360° projections for highly flexible deployment scenarios. Regarding professional networking, the device offers a classic RJ45 LAN port for control alongside HDBaseT for the lossless transmission of picture and sound over long distances. This model dates back to 2016 and is no longer part of Christie's current product range.
