The technical data of the Christie D16WU-HS includes 15500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000000:1 as well as a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 display. With its laser unit, the projector offers a specified light lifespan of 20000 hours – calculating to 13.7 years at four hours of use per day. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Projection Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 15500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 1265 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 843 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K as well as 3D are supported, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. Connectivity for fixed installations is rounded off by an RJ45 port for remote maintenance and an HDBaseT interface, which transmits bundled video, audio, and control data over long cable runs. This model dates back to 2018 and is no longer part of Christie's current product range.
