A projector from Christie is the LX37, whose LCD model delivers 3700 ANSI lumens, a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768 and a contrast of 900:1. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 1000 hours. Thanks to the combination of optical lens shift and digital keystone correction, the projected image's position can be adjusted very flexibly. Thanks to the interchangeable lens system, the device can be equipped with optional lenses to react flexibly to different room sizes. Exact values for specific rooms are provided by the Lens Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 530 cm can be illuminated with 3700 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 353 cm. The projector was released in 2004 and is officially no longer distributed by Christie.
