The projector Matrix 3500 by Christie utilizes LCD technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 3500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1000:1 at a resolution of UXGA 1600×1200 Pixel. According to Christie, the lamp has a durability of 8000 hours, achieving a lifespan of 11 years when used for 2 hours a day. Both optical image shifting (lens shift) and digital keystone adjustment are included, enabling exact alignment on the screen. For maximum setup flexibility, the model supports optional interchangeable lenses, meaning the optics can be precisely matched to individual on-site requirements. Suitable distances can be determined using the Lens Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 3500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 515 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 343 cm. The projector was released in 2004 and is officially no longer distributed by Christie. As an archive device, the projector remains highly relevant in our database. Note: According to our information, replacement lamps (original or generic) are no longer available for this projector.
