As a projector, the Christie Mirage 10000 combines DLP technology with a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768, and is additionally specified with 10000 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 500:1. According to Christie, the lamp has a durability of 1000 hours. The specifications indicate lens shift optics, allowing the image to be physically shifted without introducing digital image artifacts. A major advantage for professional installations is the ability to use interchangeable lenses, allowing the projector to adapt to highly varied projection distances. Which optic is required for a specific case can easily be calculated via the Projection Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 10000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 871 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 581 cm. The model is currently no longer actively offered on the market by the manufacturer.
