The Christie DWU8902-GS is a 3D-DLP projector that brings 8400 ANSI lumens, a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution alongside a contrast of 3000000:1. With its laser unit, the projector offers a specified light lifespan of 20000 hours, covering an estimated 13.7 years based on a 4-hour daily runtime. For distortion-free image alignment, the projector offers both a lens shift function and keystone correction, granting significant leeway during mounting. A major advantage for professional installations is the ability to use interchangeable lenses, allowing the projector to adapt to highly varied projection distances. Which optic is required for a specific case can easily be calculated via the Lens Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 8400 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 931 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 621 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P as well as 3D are supported, and also offers the technical capability for 360° projection. Connectivity for fixed installations is rounded off by an RJ45 port for remote maintenance and an HDBaseT interface, which transmits bundled video, audio, and control data over long cable runs. Since entering the market in 2020, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
