This projector from Christie utilizes DLP technology, achieving 4000 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 2000:1 at a resolution of HDTV 1280 x 720. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 1500 hours before a replacement is necessary. The presence of a lens shift function enables flexible vertical or horizontal positioning of the projector without digital interference. A major advantage for professional installations is the ability to use interchangeable lenses, allowing the projector to adapt to highly varied projection distances. Which optic is required for a specific case can easily be calculated via the Lens Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 643 cm can be illuminated with 4000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 429 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. This model dates back to 2005 and is no longer part of Christie's current product range. For your information: Compatible lamps for this device are no longer available in stores.
