Known as the CP2308-RGBe, this 3D-DLP projector by Christie features basic specs of 8000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 at a HD2K 2048 x 1080 resolution. With its built-in laser light source, the projector achieves a manufacturer-stated lifespan of 30000 hours, covering an estimated 20.5 years based on a 4-hour daily runtime. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Lens Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 779 cm can be illuminated with 8000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 519 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P as well as 3D. This model dates back to 2023 and is no longer part of Christie's current product range.
