Known as the LX801i-D, this LCD projector by Christie features basic specs of 8000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 10000:1 at a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 3000 hours. Regarding projection size, the value of 8000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 779 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 519 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content, and also offers the technical capability for 360° projection. The model is perfectly equipped for complex installations: In addition to the RJ45 jack for network administration, an HDBaseT port is available, transporting high-resolution AV signals over a single Cat cable. The projector was released in 2015 and is officially no longer distributed by Christie.
