The Christie DS+8K neu is a DLP projector that brings 8500 ANSI lumens, a SXGA+ 1400 x 1050 resolution alongside a contrast of 2000:1. According to Christie, the included lamp lasts up to 1000 hours. The specifications indicate lens shift optics, allowing the image to be physically shifted without introducing digital image artifacts. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Projection Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. A look at the light output reveals: The 8500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 803 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 535 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. This model dates back to 2004 and is no longer part of Christie's current product range. Note: According to our information, replacement lamps (original or generic) are no longer available for this projector.
