A projector from Christie is the Vivid LX26, whose LCD model delivers 2600 ANSI lumens, a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768 and a contrast of 500:1. According to Christie, the lamp has a durability of 2000 hours. The presence of a lens shift function enables flexible vertical or horizontal positioning of the projector without digital interference. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Projector Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 444 cm can be illuminated with 2600 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 296 cm. This device is no longer manufactured and has been removed from Christie's current lineup.
