With the Boxer 2K25, Christie offers a DLP projector that features 24500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 and a resolution of HD2K 2048 x 1080. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 1500 hours. In terms of image alignment, the model offers an optical lens shift function, allowing the image to be shifted on the projection surface without any loss of quality. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Projection Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. Regarding projection size, the value of 24500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 1363 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 909 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. An additional 360° projection capability allows the device to be oriented at almost any angle. The model is perfectly equipped for complex installations: In addition to the RJ45 jack for network administration, an HDBaseT port is available, transporting high-resolution AV signals over a single Cat cable. The projector was released in 2016 and is officially no longer distributed by Christie. As an archive device, the projector remains highly relevant in our database.
