The DWU1052 Q model is a DLP projector from Christie, intended for Stationary applications, offering 8900 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2500:1 at WUXGA 1920 x 1200. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 2000 hours. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Projector Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 958 cm can be illuminated with 8900 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 639 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. An additional 360° projection capability allows the device to be oriented at almost any angle. The model is perfectly equipped for complex installations: In addition to the RJ45 jack for network administration, an HDBaseT port is available, transporting high-resolution AV signals over a single Cat cable. This model dates back to 2016 and is no longer part of Christie's current product range.
