Based on DLP technology, the Christie Crimson WU25 projects images in a Event environment, with technical specs listing 22300 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 and a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution. This is a laser projector with a light source designed to last for 20000 hours – equivalent to a usable life of 13.7 years at 4 hours a day. A major advantage for professional installations is the ability to use interchangeable lenses, allowing the projector to adapt to highly varied projection distances. Which optic is required for a specific case can easily be calculated via the Projector Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 22300 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 1517 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 1011 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. Connectivity for fixed installations is rounded off by an RJ45 port for remote maintenance and an HDBaseT interface, which transmits bundled video, audio, and control data over long cable runs. Since entering the market in 2017, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. However, it remains frequently searched within our database.
