This projector is named DS+4K, originates from Christie, and its data sheet shows 5000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 and a resolution of SXGA+ 1400 x 1050. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 1000 hours for this projector's lamp. An integrated lens shift provides significant leeway for placement. The lens can be adjusted to precisely align the image even with off-center installations. A major advantage for professional installations is the ability to use interchangeable lenses, allowing the projector to adapt to highly varied projection distances. Which optic is required for a specific case can easily be calculated via the Distance Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 5000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 616 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 411 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. This model dates back to 2004 and is no longer part of Christie's current product range. For your information: Compatible lamps for this device are no longer available in stores.
