With the 4K10-HS, Christie offers a 3D-DLP projector that features 10000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000000:1 and a resolution of 4KESHIFT 2716 x 1528. The laser technology ensures a specified light source lifespan of up to 20000 hours, covering an estimated 13.7 years based on a 4-hour daily runtime. A major advantage for professional installations is the ability to use interchangeable lenses, allowing the projector to adapt to highly varied projection distances. Which optic is required for a specific case can easily be calculated via the Projector Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 10000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 1016 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 677 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K as well as 3D, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. The model is perfectly equipped for complex installations: In addition to the RJ45 jack for network administration, an HDBaseT port is available, transporting high-resolution AV signals over a single Cat cable. The projector was released in 2018 and is officially no longer distributed by Christie.
