According to Christie, the MIRAGE WU12K-M model provides 10500 ANSI lumens, a contrast ratio of 10000:1 alongside a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 1500 hours. In terms of image alignment, the model offers an optical lens shift function, allowing the image to be shifted on the projection surface without any loss of quality. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Projection Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 10500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 1041 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 694 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. Since entering the market in 2010, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. In our projector directory, the device still generates high interest.
