The projector DWU2022-HS by Christie operates as a 3D-DLP device with 18500 ANSI lumens, a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution and a contrast of 2000000:1. This is a laser projector with a light source designed to last for 20000 hours, which translates to 13.7 years with 4 hours of daily use. For maximum setup flexibility, the model supports optional interchangeable lenses, meaning the optics can be precisely matched to individual on-site requirements. Suitable distances can be determined using the Lens Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 18500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 1382 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 921 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. Regarding professional networking, the device offers a classic RJ45 LAN port for control alongside HDBaseT for the lossless transmission of picture and sound over long distances. Since entering the market in 2020, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. In our projector directory, the device still generates high interest.
