This projector from Christie utilizes DLP technology, achieving 10500 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 10000:1 at a resolution of WUXGA 1920 x 1200. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 1500 hours. The specifications indicate lens shift optics, allowing the image to be physically shifted without introducing digital image artifacts. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Lens Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 10500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 1041 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 694 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. The projector was released in 2009 and is officially no longer distributed by Christie. In our projector directory, the device still generates high interest.
