The Christie Roadster HD14K-M is a 3D-DLP projector that brings 12000 ANSI lumens, a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution alongside a contrast of 2500:1. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 1000 hours. In terms of image alignment, the model offers an optical lens shift function, allowing the image to be shifted on the projection surface without any loss of quality. A major advantage for professional installations is the ability to use interchangeable lenses, allowing the projector to adapt to highly varied projection distances. Which optic is required for a specific case can easily be calculated via the Projection Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 12000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 1113 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 742 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. For media input, video signals up to 1080P as well as 3D are supported. The projector was released in 2012 and is officially no longer distributed by Christie. In our projector directory, the device still generates high interest.
