Based on DLP technology, the Christie HD5Kc projects images in a Stationary environment, with technical specs listing 5000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 and a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 1500 hours for this projector's lamp. The presence of a lens shift function enables flexible vertical or horizontal positioning of the projector without digital interference. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Lens Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. Looking at practical performance, up to 718 cm can be illuminated with 5000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 479 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. This model dates back to 2006 and is no longer part of Christie's current product range. Note: According to our information, replacement lamps (original or generic) are no longer available for this projector.
