The Mirage HD18 model from Christie combines DLP technology in the Event sector with 17500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 and a native HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 750 hours before a replacement is necessary. For precise setup, the device features a lens shift mechanism that allows for purely optical image shifting. Thanks to the interchangeable lens system, the device can be equipped with optional lenses to react flexibly to different room sizes. Exact values for specific rooms are provided by the Projector Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 17500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 1344 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 896 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. This model dates back to 2008 and is no longer part of Christie's current product range. Important maintenance note: It is no longer possible to procure replacement lamps for this model.
