This projector from Christie utilizes 3D-DLP technology, achieving 60000 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 2100:1 at a resolution of UHD (4K+2K) 4096 x 2160. With its built-in laser light source, the projector achieves a manufacturer-stated lifespan of 30000 hours. Daily use of 4 hours makes an operational lifespan of over 20.5 years possible. Thanks to the interchangeable lens system, the device can be equipped with optional lenses to react flexibly to different room sizes. Exact values for specific rooms are provided by the Lens Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 60000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 1382 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 921 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K as well as 3D, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. The projector was released in 2015 and is officially no longer distributed by Christie. In our projector directory, the device still generates high interest.
