A projector from Christie is the Mirage SST-6P, whose 3D-DLP model delivers 30000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160 and a contrast of 5000:1. For maximum setup flexibility, the model supports optional interchangeable lenses, meaning the optics can be precisely matched to individual on-site requirements. Suitable distances can be determined using the Distance Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 30000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 1760 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 1173 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K as well as 3D, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. The HDBaseT connection particularly shows its strengths in complex installations, enabling long transmission paths with standard CAT cables. This model dates back to 2021 and is no longer part of Christie's current product range. As an archive device, the projector remains highly relevant in our database.
