A projector from Christie is the Captiva DWU500S, whose 3D-DLP model delivers 4500 ANSI lumens, a resolution of WUXGA 1920 x 1200 and a contrast of 1800:1. The laser technology ensures a specified light source lifespan of up to 20000 hours, which translates to 13.7 years with 4 hours of daily use. With its short projection distance, the short-throw model excels in smaller rooms, requiring only 50 cm of wall distance for an image width of 2 meters. A look at the light output reveals: The 4500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 682 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 455 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers (10W), audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system.
