Known as the F80-4K12, this 3D-LED-DLP projector by Barco features basic specs of 10700 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1200:1 at a 4KESHIFT 2716 x 1528 resolution. Using this laser phosphor technology, the light source runtime is rated at 20000 hours – equivalent to a usable life of 13.7 years at 4 hours a day. A major advantage for professional installations is the ability to use interchangeable lenses, allowing the projector to adapt to highly varied projection distances. Which optic is required for a specific case can easily be calculated via the Projection Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 10700 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 1051 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 701 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K as well as 3D, and also offers the technical capability for 360° projection. Connectivity for fixed installations is rounded off by an RJ45 port for remote maintenance and an HDBaseT interface, which transmits bundled video, audio, and control data over long cable runs.
