As a projector, the Christie WX7K-M combines DLP technology with a resolution of WXGA 1366 x 768, and is additionally specified with 5700 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 10000:1. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 2000 hours for this projector's lamp. The specifications indicate lens shift optics, allowing the image to be physically shifted without introducing digital image artifacts. A major advantage for professional installations is the ability to use interchangeable lenses, allowing the projector to adapt to highly varied projection distances. A look at the light output reveals: The 5700 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 767 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 511 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. This model dates back to 2009 and is no longer part of Christie's current product range.
