The equipment of the Christie DHD851 Q projector includes 7500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2500:1 with a HDTV 1920 x 1080 display. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 2000 hours. An integrated lens shift provides significant leeway for placement. The lens can be adjusted to precisely align the image even with off-center installations. Thanks to the interchangeable lens system, the device can be equipped with optional lenses to react flexibly to different room sizes. Exact values for specific rooms are provided by the Lens Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 7500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 880 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 587 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported, and also offers the technical capability for 360° projection. Connectivity for fixed installations is rounded off by an RJ45 port for remote maintenance and an HDBaseT interface, which transmits bundled video, audio, and control data over long cable runs. The projector was released in 2014 and is officially no longer distributed by Christie.
