As a projector for the Event sector, the Christie Boxer 2K30 is equipped with 29000 ANSI lumens, a HD2K 2048 x 1080 resolution and a contrast of 2000:1. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 1500 hours. The presence of a lens shift function enables flexible vertical or horizontal positioning of the projector without digital interference. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Projection Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. Regarding projection size, the value of 29000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 1483 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 989 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content, and also offers the technical capability for 360° projection. Regarding professional networking, the device offers a classic RJ45 LAN port for control alongside HDBaseT for the lossless transmission of picture and sound over long distances. The projector was released in 2016 and is officially no longer distributed by Christie.
