The hardware properties of the PowerLite 770F manufactured by Epson USA include 4100 ANSI lumens, a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution and a contrast value of 25000000:1. The laser technology ensures a specified light source lifespan of up to 20000 hours – equivalent to a usable life of 13.7 years at 4 hours a day. To compensate for angled projection positions, the model features 2D keystone correction, which digitally corrects trapezoidal distortion. The short-throw capabilities allow for large images at a short projection distance. According to specifications, a 2-meter wide image requires a distance of only 50 cm. A look at the light output reveals: The 4100 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 651 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 434 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P as well as 3D, and also offers the technical capability for 360° projection. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Thanks to support for optional Miracast, screen content can also be cast wirelessly from a smartphone, tablet, or PC to the screen.
