The PowerLite W8+ model is a LCD projector from Epson USA, intended for Standard-Portabel applications, offering 2500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 at WXGA 1280 x 800. According to Epson USA, the included lamp lasts up to 4000 hours, which amounts to roughly 5.5 years at 2 hours of daily use. For basic image adjustment, the device is equipped with horizontal and vertical keystone correction, allowing digital compensation for trapezoidal distortion at angled projection setups. Regarding projection size, the value of 2500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 508 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 339 cm. This model dates back to 2009 and is no longer part of Epson USA's current product range.
