The PowerLite 7900P model from Epson USA combines LCD technology in the Standard-Portabel sector with 4000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 700:1 and a native XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 2000 hours before a replacement is necessary. For basic image adjustment, the device is equipped with horizontal and vertical keystone correction, allowing digital compensation for trapezoidal distortion at angled projection setups. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Projection Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 4000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 551 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 367 cm. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. This model dates back to 2004 and is no longer part of Epson USA's current product range.
