The basic data of the Epson USA PowerLite 5510 includes 5500 ANSI lumens, a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768 as well as a contrast of 15000:1. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 5000 hours. With two hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 6.8 years. Thanks to the combination of optical lens shift and digital keystone correction, the projected image's position can be adjusted very flexibly. The Lens Shift Calculator helps find the optimal installation dimensions. Regarding projection size, the value of 5500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 646 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 431 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. The HDBaseT connection particularly shows its strengths in complex installations, enabling long transmission paths with standard CAT cables. The projector was released in 2016 and is officially no longer distributed by Epson USA.
