Known as the PowerLite 118, this LCD projector by Epson USA features basic specs of 3800 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 16000:1 at a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 8000 hours for this projector's lamp. A daily usage of 2 hours makes an operational lifespan of 11 years possible. The image geometry can be adjusted via the built-in keystone correction so that a clean, rectangular display is achieved even with non-ideal placement. Regarding projection size, the value of 3800 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 537 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 358 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers (16W), audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system.
