Behind the name PowerLite Pro G6170W / NL is a LCD projector by Epson USA, whose main features include 6500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 5000:1 and a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. According to Epson USA, the included lamp lasts up to 2500 hours. Thanks to the combination of optical lens shift and digital keystone correction, the projected image's position can be adjusted very flexibly. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Projector Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 6500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 702 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 468 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content, and also offers the technical capability for 360° projection. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. Connectivity for fixed installations is rounded off by an RJ45 port for remote maintenance and an HDBaseT interface, which transmits bundled video, audio, and control data over long cable runs. This model dates back to 2015 and is no longer part of Epson USA's current product range.
