Categorized in the Event segment, the PowerLite Z8250NL projector from Epson USA projects with a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution, alongside 10000 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 5000:1. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 2500 hours. Thanks to the combination of optical lens shift and digital keystone correction, the projected image's position can be adjusted very flexibly. Thanks to the interchangeable lens system, the device can be equipped with optional lenses to react flexibly to different room sizes. Exact values for specific rooms are provided by the Projection Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 10000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 871 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 581 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. The projector was released in 2012 and is officially no longer distributed by Epson USA.
