Based on LCD technology, the Epson USA EpiqVision Mini EF22 projects images in a Homecinema environment, with technical specs listing 1000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 5000000:1 and a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution. This is a laser projector with a light source designed to last for 25000 hours – equivalent to a usable life of 17.1 years at 4 hours a day. Regarding projection size, the value of 1000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 321 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 214 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. Equipped with Google TV, the device provides direct access to a broad spectrum of streaming services. For wireless audio output, the projector also supports Bluetooth, making it easy to quickly connect external soundbars. Since the projector supports Chromecast screen mirroring, video signals can also be streamed wirelessly from the end device. Regarding noise emissions, the model proves to be exceptionally quiet during operation, producing just 22 decibels.
