Known as the PowerLite 1980WU, this LCD projector by Epson USA features basic specs of 4400 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 10000:1 at a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 3000 hours. Should a perpendicular setup to the screen not be possible, the integrated keystone correction (horizontal and vertical) helps to realign the image into a perfect rectangle. Regarding projection size, the value of 4400 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 674 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 449 cm. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. Thanks to MHL support, screen content from mobile devices can be transmitted via cable, including charging power for the device. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. This model dates back to 2014 and is no longer part of Epson USA's current product range.
