The PowerLite 1262W is a LCD projector by Epson USA, whose specifications list 3000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 10000:1 and a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 5000 hours before a replacement is necessary – mathematically sufficient for 6.8 years based on two hours of use per day. Looking at practical performance, up to 556 cm can be illuminated with 3000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 371 cm. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. Since entering the market in 2013, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
