The hardware properties of the PowerLite 1965 manufactured by Epson USA include 5000 ANSI lumens, a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution and a contrast value of 3000:1. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 2500 hours. For basic image adjustment, the device is equipped with horizontal and vertical keystone correction, allowing digital compensation for trapezoidal distortion at angled projection setups. A look at the light output reveals: The 5000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 616 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 411 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. The projector was released in 2012 and is officially no longer distributed by Epson USA.
